Gum rubber boots and sleeves
29" ID Batch Plant Boot for Truck Discharge, Cut to Length
The 29 inch batch plant boot is the truck discharge boot. It is the sleeve hanging off the bottom of the batcher that drops mix into a ready-mix truck, and it is the part that tears first on almost every plant we talk to.
29" ID gum rubber boot, hot vulcanized seam.

It tears because of what it does. Wet mix, rock and cement come through it under weight on every load, the drum moves under it, and drivers back into it. Some plants call it the elephant trunk. Whatever it is called on your yard, when it splits you are spilling mix on the ground and taking dust complaints until it is replaced.
Build it in a 1/2 inch wall. This is one place we will push back if somebody asks for thinner. A 3/8 inch wall at 29 inches will run, but on a plant batching every day it does not last a season. The 1/2 inch is the version people stop thinking about.
Most of these are 24 to 30 inches long. Many are tapered, running wider at the batcher and narrower where they drop into the drum. If yours steps down, switch the builder to Tapered and give us both ends. If you have a torn one hanging, a phone photo with a tape measure across the opening is enough for us to quote it.

Cross-reference and old part numbers
Working from an old part number instead of a measurement? Put the number in the notes field on the RFQ and we will match the dimensions. We regularly build equivalents to MPParts, Vince Hagan, CEPI and other catalog boots.
Have your measurements?
ID, wall, length. That is all we need to quote it.
