Gum rubber boots and sleeves
6 5/8" ID Gum Rubber Boot, Cut to Length
The 6 5/8 inch gum rubber boot is the size you want when the sleeve has to slip over 6 inch nominal pipe. Six inch pipe measures 6.625 inches across the outside, so a boot cut to a true 6 inch ID will not go on. Order the 6 5/8 and it slides over the pipe with room for the clamp band to pull it tight.
6 5/8" ID gum rubber boot, hot vulcanized seam.

This is a small-line size. It shows up on dust drops, sample chutes, feed mill downspouts, and the short flex sections between a small hopper and a screw conveyor. It is also a common bin vent and aspiration connection on grain and feed equipment.
A 1/4 inch wall is the right call for most of that duty. It holds its shape on a vertical drop and still flexes enough to absorb the vibration a conveyor puts into the line. Drop to 3/16 inch if the sleeve is purely a dust seal with no material weight on it and you want it easier to work over the pipe by hand. There is no reason to go heavier than 1/4 inch at this diameter unless something abrasive is falling straight through it.
Every one is hot vulcanized. The seam is cured under heat and pressure, so there is no glue line at the clamp to walk apart over a season.

Cross-reference and old part numbers
Working from an old part number instead of a measurement? Put the number in the notes field on the RFQ and we will match the dimensions. We regularly build equivalents to MPParts, Vince Hagan, CEPI and other catalog boots.
Have your measurements?
ID, wall, length. That is all we need to quote it.
